(Introduction of Starfield COEX Mall as written on Naver portal)

Walking through Starfield COEX Mall during the day feels like being in the shopping streets of Hong Kong. You’ll notice as many foreigners as locals, especially a lot of young people.

In the past, it was known as COEX Mall, but after the operating company changed to the Shinsegae Group in 2016, the name was changed to ‘Starfield COEX Mall.’ At that time, Starfield Library was opened as a cultural space and landmark in the center of the first basement floor. Surrounding the star-shaped pathways, various distribution, F&B, and entertainment brands owned by Shinsegae joined in, establishing the mall as a hotspot leading both domestic and international urban trends.

On this vibrant street, open all year round, you can find the following attractions, entertainment, and dining options:

  • Fashion Brands: Over 300 brands are present, offering a glimpse of the latest trends just by walking around. From big SPA brands like Zara, Uniqlo, H&M, and Oysho, to hip street fashion and cult brands, and beauty brands that captivate beauty enthusiasts, there’s something for everyone, including lifestyle and home furnishing stores.
  • Restaurants and Cafés: Over 100 domestic and international dining options and cafés are gathered here.
  • Entertainment: Character shops, a cinema, a large bookstore, an aquarium, a game center, and a VR zone operate in spacious areas.
  • Cultural Space: Starfield Library, where cultural and artistic events like lectures, classes, concerts, and art projects are held, is always bustling with people taking photos.

The mall also has facilities for families with young children, including kids’ cafés, infant rest areas, stroller rental services, and a medical room.

Starfield COEX Mall is directly connected to Seoul’s major urban facilities like Hyundai Department Store, Seoul Parnas Mall, InterContinental Seoul COEX, and Oakwood Premier Hotel.
